Stony Brook Duck Pond

Christopher and I went to the duck pond down in Stony Brook. He loved seeing all the birds flying around and the ducks swimming in the water. We even had a goose chase us for the bread I had. The weather was fantastic and we had so much fun!

Teeth!

Aunt Janine took this picture of Christopher's bottom teeth. The first one cut July 13 (Aunt Janine's B-Day) then the next followed just a couple of days later.

Timber!

Our neighbor Danny works for a tree company. They came to our house to remove a huge branch from the tree on the side of our house. It was so huge that it was like a whole other tree. After the whole branch came down, Danny cleaned up where the branch was cut. The next day, Doug went outside and carved our names into the tree. Thanks Babe!

Visiting Nonna, Grandpa & Michael!

A couple of weeks ago we went to my parents house for a visit. Michael was so excited to see Christopher & Doug. We had so much fun! Here are some pics of our visit.

Ride'em Cowboy!

Grandpa Pennsylvania and Grandma Sarah gave Christopher this adorable horse that actually moves. Christopher loves sitting on him and plays with his ears. Thank you so much Grandpa and Grandma. I love it!!

Christopher was being a little lazy. He decided he no longer wanted to hold his bottle so he placed it on his tray and realized he can still drink. He also squeezes the nipple and squirts milk everywhere!

Doctor's Visit

We had to take Christopher to see a specialist at Stony Brook University for his tummy. They had us put this gown on him and I thought he looked so cute.
He loves to rip paper! Before the doctor had even come in to the room to see him, the exam table was destroyed.

Fireworks!

The other day we went to Grandma Joan's house (Rich's Mom) to see the fireworks. We met up with the Hoey's for pizza and ice cream. We had so much fun! Here is a picture of Christopher with Kathryn's sunglasses on.
He is such a ham!

The fireworks sarted later than planned, so Christopher was a bit tired. At least he went home and slept for a few hours.

Since we have been at Janine's, Christopher is not afaid of Murphy. He loves him! Christopher screams for Murphy all the time and always smiles at him when he is around. So Cute!

4th of July Parade

We went to our first 4th of July parade in our new hometown of Port Jeff! It was a lot of fun. We went with Janine, Rich and the girls. We also met up with the Hoey's and the Lepore's. It's a nice to start a new family tradition in a new place. After the parade was over, we went to the firehouse for hotdogs. Doug saw a lot of old friends and they were happy to see that he has moved back. Janine and Rich also had a BBQ at there house. We had a lot of great food and fun! Thanks!!!

Summer Fun!

Christopher's new thing to do is put his thumb inside his pacifier and chew on it. He keeps it on his thumb and goes about his business. I hope this tooth cuts soon.

Today we went swimming. As you can see, I thought I picked up Finding Nemo swim diapers!

Update...

The past few weeks have been very crazy. We finally closed on our house on June 17th. We haven't moved in yet because we are doing some work. Thanks to my amazing sister & brother-in law Janine and Rich, we have a place to stay!!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day Daddy! Yesterday was Doug's first father's day. We went shopping for a new washer and dryer and had a BBQ at Janine and Rich's house with the Hoey's. Kathryn and Allison spent the day playing with Christopher and making him laugh! They are such great helpers!! We Love You Daddy!
